Joint Task Force’s Joint Network Management System (JNMS) Achieves Full Production Accreditation

NeuralStar Central to Simplified Network Management for Forward Deployed Forces and War on Terrorism

Reston, Virginia – Ai Metrix, Inc. announced today that The Joint Network Management System (JNMS), a network communications and management system for DOD Joint Task Forces, has achieved Full Production status after rigorous Limited User Testing (LUT). JNMS, with over 50 units currently deployed, including many in the war on terrorism, was approved in late 2005, after it achieved Milestone C status.

Ai Metrix’s, NeuralStar™ solution from Ai Metrix is the network management software component for JNMS.  JNMS is used by Combatant Commands, Commander, Joint Task Force (CJTF) and JTF Service components. It provides U.S. deployed task forces around the world with a scalable high level planning, engineering, spectrum planning, reporting and network management capability that enables net-centric communications across deployed joint forces. NeuralStar’s “NOC to Laptop” scalability is particularly suited to manage the complex and converged net-centric communications networks employed by joint task forces.

Uniquely designed for complex and converges networks, NeuralStar  provides Integrated Event Resolution  for all network elements (devices as well as  applications and services) and all event domains (fault, performance, security and more) all from a single screen. Ballistic Missile Defense and Joint National Training Capability
By achieving Milestone C status, JNMS deployment could reach to over 100 units through 2006-2007, with longer term deployment potential of over 200 units. One of the earliest adopters of JNMS was the Ballistic Missile Defense System (BMDS), which also uses NeuralStar for its Command and Control Battle Management and Communications (C2BMC) system. Most recently, JNMS was adopted by the Joint National Training Capability (JNTC) to support the management and implementation of net-centric communications for war games and other live and virtual training environments.

To date, NeuralStar is installed in more than a hundred installations across the Department of Defense, including DISA’s Integrated Network Management System (INMS), which manages the Global Information Grid (GIG) network.
